Parameters
5.9.2.1.4 Image quality
You use the Image quality parameter to modify the file size or quality (resolution) of the
stored image files. The setting has no effect on the reading speed of the LECTOR
®
620.
For each image, an xml file containing the data of the Code infobox is stored.
• Quality level 6 (max. resolution): File size with full image region of interest 354 kB
• Quality level 5: File size with full image region of interest 90 KB
• Quality level 4: File size with full image region of interest 41 KB
• Quality level 3: File size with full image region of interest 24 KB
• Quality level 2: File size with full image region of interest 16 KB
• Quality level 1: File size with full image region of interest 12 KB
5.9.2.2 Save destination
The Save destination group contains the parameters for saving the image files. The save de-
stination determines the media that is used to store the images.
The storage media selection affects the storage times. Saving the data to the internal
memory or onto a microSD card takes significantly longer than other storage options. It is
therefore recommended to select the I
NTERNAL MEMORY (PERMANENT) storage option or the
SOPAS (PC) storage option at high reading speeds. Only one storage option should be acti-
vated at high reading speeds.
5.9.2.2.1 Internal memory (permanent)
If the Internal memory (permanent) parameter is activated, the recorded images are perma-
nently stored in the internal memory of the LECTOR
®
620. The images are retained even af-
ter the device has been switched off.
The available internal memory size is 120 MB. The stored images can be transferred to the
PC and can be manually deleted.
5.9.2.2.2 Counter
The Counter parameter has the fixed value T
RIGGER NO. and cannot be changed.
The stored images are sequentially numbered. The number is increased by 1 each time the
reading gate is opened. After the device is restarted, numbering starts again at 1. If the me-
mory is full, no further images are stored.
